Job summary

The Chief Procurement Officer for the UK branch will oversee the Global Sourcing and Procurement (GSP) team in the UK. This role will be responsible for managing a small team of procurement analysts and administrators handling UK purchases for the CACIB London Branch.

 

The Key responsibilities are as follows : 

· Manage a team of procurement analysts and administrator from RFP, negotiation, invoicing and dispute.

· Build and maintain a set of performance indicators related to procurement activities including but not limited to supplier performance, spend analysis, cost saving initiatives.

· Work directly and specifically on high profile purchases as and when required by UK management.

· Negotiate with the assistance of the legal department, the commercial and legal clauses with 3rd party suppliers in adherence with the bank policy.

· Rate and vet all new and existing suppliers and manage corresponding contracts.

· Advise all UK functions on UK procurement activities. Ensure best practices are shared with UK departmental heads.

· Represent the procurement function at all relevant steering or project committees.

· Implement and follow locally the Credit Agricole CIB vendor and procurement policies.

· Participate and contribute to the Credit Agricole UK entities corporate initiatives in the UK.
