Missions

Crédit Agricole CIB in Japan takes an active role in capital markets by providing investments solutions and portfolio diversification to investors through its complete range of capital markets products and services such as Rates, Forex and Debt & Credit Markets (Uridashi, Bond, Green Bond, EMTN etc).
Crédit Agricole CIB is also a primary dealer of Japanese Government Bonds (JGBs) and a member of the Japan Securities Clearing Corporation for JPY Interest Rate Swaps (IRS)
You will assist the local Business manager, Global Market Division (GMD) Asia and the Regional GMD Management team in their managerial roles and facilitate GMD’s interactions with the rest of the Bank, handling and coordinating projects and initiatives when appropriate, as well as the operational administration of GMD businesses in the Region.
Your concrete missions will be the following:
- Responsibilities
- Help to drive Global Markets Division Asia support projects as overseen by the Business manager Japan, with a special emphasis of ensuring adequacy of our trading platforms and supports for the development of our trading and sales activities in the region.
- Qualities
- Organizational and coordination skills, with good knowledge of Capital Markets activities environment, IT systems, compliance, products as well as related Control and Support Functions
- Ability to act comfortably with front office staff
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Ability to work with all areas of the bank at a senior level.
- Control
- Co-ordinate and streamline the operations of and controls within Global Markets Division environment and ensure these are adequate and documented.
- Resolve, in the suggested timeframe, any recommendations made by internal or external auditors or regulators.
- Communication
- Maintain open and constructive contact with all GMD stakeholders and support functions, including but not limited to, GIT, GOP, Legal, Compliance, RPC,
- Legal and Regulatory Responsibilities
- Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory and internal Compliance requirements, including, but not limited to, the Hong Kong Compliance manual and the Financial Crime Policy. Complete any mandatory training in line with legal, regulatory and internal Compliance requirements.
- Maintain appropriate knowledge to ensure to be fully qualified to undertake the role. Complete all mandatory training as required to attain and maintain competence.
- Refrain from taking any steps which could lead to the removal of certification of fitness and properness to perform the role.
- Undertake all necessary steps to satisfy the annual certification process.
- Comply with all applicable conduct rules as prescribed by the relevant regulator.
To be eligible for a VIE in Tokyo :
- Be less than 28 years old
- Be postgraduate of a Master degree
- Be EU citizen
- Be graduated less than a year
