Job summary
You will join Credit Agricole CIB Canada as a Commando Developer for the Finance Division.
You will be part of the Finance Projects and Administration group which is responsible for supporting process and data-driven business activities of Finance in the Americas.
Your concrete missions will be the following:
- Automation and Development : Design, develop, and implement automation solutions to streamline business processes using Python & VBA.
- Database Management: Write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions for data extraction, manipulation, and reporting.
- Troubleshooting and Debugging: Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in existing applications and scripts to ensure seamless functionality and performance.
- Controlling and Monitoring: Monitor systems and processes to ensure data integrity and process adherence.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand requirements, identify areas for improvement, and deliver high-quality solutions.
To be eligible for a VIE:
- Be less than 29 years old
- Be postgraduate of a master's degree
- Be EU citizen

You are postgraduate of a Master degree from a University or an Engineering School with a specialization in Financial Engineering, Computer Science, Information Science or Data Science.

A first experience using Python, VBA and SQL is necessary.
Required skills
Hard Skills:
- Strong expertise in SQL for database querying, design, and optimization.
- Advanced skills in Python for scripting, data analysis, and automation.
- Proficiency in VBA to automate tasks within Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proven track record of effective troubleshooting and debugging.
- Experience in facilitating workshops and communicating with diverse stakeholders.
- Proven experience in gathering and documenting business requirements.
- You should have hands on experience with Power BI.
- Fluent French and English (written & verbal) as you will be working closely with New York.
- Working knowledge/Basic understanding about Finance & Accounting is preferred.
- Knowledge about Oracle applications is a plus.
