Summary


CA-CIB is actively participating in non-linear, equity derivatives and credit derivatives asset class, seeing it as a core area of service, growth and investment. The business is distributed globally with trading centres in Paris, London, Hong Kong and New York.

The purpose of the position is to lead multiple IT teams in Asia (non-linear, equity investment, credit and bond) for support and development for CA-CIB with a focus in Asia and in co-ordination with IT teams globally.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Be part of the Asia Regional Business Comex
  • Be part of the Asia CMI Steering Committee
  • Be part of the respective Global IT Comex dedicated to the Asset Class
  • Co-leading the IS Strategy definition and ensures its IT Division delivers according to the Business and IT strategy.
  • Ensure quality of the IT projects and delivered within budget and time.
  • Accountable for IT production stability and improvement of day-to-day production quality
  • Main contact point for business comex and escalation for his/her IT Filiere in Asia.
  • Managing the IT resources within the Asia Regional Filiere
  • Managing the budget for IT within the Asia Regional Filiere
  • Driving the proper IT governance globally and across Asia.
  • Ensure operational efficiency of the team and provide guidance to team for achieving the goal and strategy of the business and Global CMI IT Division.
  • Need to work independently in liaison with Bank Support Functions and IT teams (local and overseas)
  • Coaching team members to enhance their technical skills and capabilities
  • Setting up technical standards and best practices for development and architecture
  • Staying with technological advancements
  • Served as subject matter expert on technology trends and practices

Candidate criteria

Minimal education level

Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent

Academic qualification / Speciality

  • Degree holder in Computer Science, Financial Engineering, or related discipline

Level of minimal experience

6-10 years

Experience

  • 10+ years IT working experience with investment banking with 5+ years in management
  • Proven experience as a software engineering leadership or similar role, with a strong background in system design and application/product architecture
  • Experienced in team and resource management with local and oversea team.
  • Experience in managing IT support and development team is a plus

Required skills

  • Proactive and quick learner, independent and proven ability to work under tight target and pressure
  • Good team player with excellent interpersonal skills

Technical skills required

  • Good understanding in the business from Pre-trade, eTrading, position and risk monitoring and back office processing.
  • Proficiency in software development methodologies : craftsmanship and software factory/devops, cloud technology development (Kubernetes, Infrastructure/monitoring as a code…), API and event-based development

Languages
