Job summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Work independently and jointly with senior project finance distributor to originate, structure, distribute and execute finance and infrastructures transactions in the North America Project Finance loan market
  • Identify financing solutions for clients across debt capital markets with emphasis on loan syndications
  • Produce and review loan offers, pitches, and term sheets with metier
  • Prepare and review/oversee capital structure assessments which include comparable transactions and analysis of market data
  • Oversee the preparation of pitch books and market updates for clients, Information Memoranda or other marketing materials for lead transactions and slides for bank meetings /road shows as needed
  • Prepare and review/oversee syndication strategies, underwriting opinions, and market reads/commentaries
  • Develop and maintain relationships with investors active in the Project Finance space including international and domestic banks and non-banks/institutional investors
  • Actively participate in the selling of assignments and participations in syndicated transactions in the primary market
  • Work with EIG team and secondary loan team to manage and execute secondary loan transactions and promote asset rotation
  • Work with the CRI team to secure appetite and execute CRI agreements
  • Negotiate and review credit agreements and provide relevant comments from a syndication perspective

 
Key Requirements

  • BA/BS degree or master’s degree
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in banking
  • Experience in project finance and infrastructure either through loan syndication, capital markets or coverage
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to multi-task
  • Strong analytical skills and presentation skills
  • Credit training and/or credit skills
  • Some accounting/finance coursework

  • Series 7 or equivalent, 79 and 3 (either completed or will be required)
