Job summary

Position
This position is for the new CACIB Loan strategic program, named LOANSCAPE.

  • It is multiyear program. The program targets to:
    Build a new platform to interconnect investors, lenders and clients on syndicated markets
  • Build a digital platform for CACIB clients and investors
  • Manage large lender pool deal, different loan format, institutional investors and multi-product
  • Increasing agility lead by more focused and structured transactions
  • Implement solution aligned with regulatory requirements (Basel IV, IFRS 9).
    The solutions are built in Paris and in Singapore.

In a challenging and multicultural environment, we seek a Business Analyst to join our Core Banking IT department which is in charge of developing and maintaining the International Back Office Cash Management System of CACIB. The position requires autonomy and reliability in performing duties while maintaining close communication with the rest of the IT project and support teams as well as the ability to work on multiple projects concurrently. The candidate will need to develop a good understanding of both IT systems and business processes.

Main responsibilities

  • Work with business user to draft and finalize requirements.
  • Analyse and document existing business processes and operating models and provide solutions w.r.t. target architecture considering specific future business needs.
  • Design solutions and write functional specifications and solutions in collaboration with technical IT specialists.
  • Testing the developed applications and follow up on fixes.
  • Ensure delivery of fully tested products/features on-time and with quality up to production.
  • Maintain up-to-date required quality documentations & train end-users.
  • Provide support to test, diagnose and resolve application issues.
  • The position requires autonomy and reliability in performing duties while maintaining close communication with the rest of project teams located in Paris. The candidate will need to have and keep developing a good understanding of both IT systems and business processes.

Minimal education level

Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent

Academic qualification / Speciality

Bachelor or Master in relevant specialties 

Level of minimal experience

Experience

This position requires around 6 years of relevant experiences in corporate financing domain with focus on designing and delivering IT solutions.

Mandatory skills:

  • Holding a diploma/degree in accounting, finance or IT.
  • Excellent knowledge of corporate & investment banking and different financial products including but not limited to Syndications, Participations, Commercial Loans, LC, Guarantees, Discounting, Factoring etc.
  • Experience in all phases of the IT system development life cycle like design, implementation, testing, deployment and support.
  • Experience working in Agile development methodology.
  • Hands-on experience with BDD framework and UML.
  • Comfortable working with SQL database queries.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools.

Required skills

Advantages:

  • Any certification for Business Analysts e.g. ECBA, CBAP, PBA etc.
  • Any experience in project management or in a functional lead role
