Job summary


•        Working Capital Advisor advises corporates on how to optimize working capital using banking tools in the context of sectorial practices and corporate strategy
•        Working Capital Advisor works together with the ITB, Securitisation and Coverage in order to advise and pitch clients with an analysis and ideas to detect cash flow optimisation opportunities for the bank and its clients on their dedicated sector (Sector assignment to be determined)
•        Working Capital Advisor also feeds the development of the bank’s working capital, trade finance and transaction banking offer in the assigned sector with internal and external thought leadership efforts

Key Responsibilities


•        Work together with sector teams, coverage and origination network in terms of
§  Studying an origination strategy for key clients as per sectorial and client specific needs
§  Pitching to clients together to present a working capital analysis and a working capital strategy linked to the product offer
§  Supporting the origination process by providing ammunition such as sectorial analysis, benchmarking and a working capital financing strategy
§  Being involved in the follow up process where a complex situation presents where sectorial insight, cash flow trends or working capital analysis can be a value-add
•        Follow the results of the origination activity in the network for the assigned portfolio / sector to make sure the advisory efforts lead to a contribution for the bank
•        Contribute to product development and innovation process through sharing client feedback and providing solutions to sector specific issues
•        Check with Product and Structuring teams that all non-standard solutions offered to clients can be successfully implemented
•        Coordinate Cross sell with other financing divisions within CACIB and outside CACIB as Factoring and Consumer Finance
•        Ensure development of juniors with necessary training and work on succession and career planning
•        Create and maintain effective conduct environment and prioritise delivery of process, procedures and systems that support the adherence of the bank




KPIs          
-        New business generation indicators: New / Additional P&L, Number of new deals, value of new deals
-        Activity indicators : Weighted Pipeline, Number of meetings
-        Marketing indicators: Sectorial activity- brand building, Success on innovation projects, Internal and External marketing events, trainings
-        Qualitative feedback from Coverage/sales/Customers on positioning the bank


Supplementary Information

Legal and Regulatory Responsibilities 

·        Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory and internal Compliance requirements, including, but not limited to, the London Compliance manual and the Financial Crime Policy.

 

·        Maintain appropriate knowledge to ensure to be fully qualified to undertake the role. Complete all mandatory training as required to attain and maintain competence.

·        As a Manager, to be responsible for the implementation of internal systems and controls and ensuring staff adhere to requirements.

Experience

  • Credit trained within a money centre/ clearing / Investment Bank.
  • Expert in the various products offered in Transaction Banking.
  • Experience in promoting/advising on working capital solutions.
