Job summary

Overview:

We are seeking a resourceful and versatile Software Engineer to join our dynamic team delivering innovative solutions across industries. The ideal candidate brings a unique combination of technical engineering expertise and strong consulting skills, capable of leading end-to-end solution delivery and engaging with stakeholders to align technology with business goals.

Scope of duties:

 

Key Responsibilities

·       Design, develop, and implement full-stack applications across a range of platforms and frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Node.js, .NET, Java).

·       Lead integration of third-party services including SSO (Microsoft, Google, GitLab), API gateways (Kong), and container orchestration (Kubernetes).

·       Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable cloud-native solutions using IaC (Terraform), DevOps pipelines (GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD), and developer portals (Backstage and/or Port.io).

·       Support digital transformation initiatives contributing to solution architecture, technology roadmaps, and data/AI strategies.

·       Manage multiple concurrent projects, driving planning, execution, and delivery through agile methodologies.

·       Take ownership in bridging the gap between business requirements and technical feasibility, acting as a key point of contact for clients.

Legal and Regulatory Responsibilities:

 

Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory and internal Compliance requirements, including, but not limited to, the Singapore Compliance manual and Compliance policies and procedures as issued from time to time; Financial Security requirements, including, but not limited to, the prevention of Financial Crime and Fraud including reporting obligations to the Money Laundering Reporting Officer/Compliance Officer.
 

·       Maintain appropriate knowledge to ensure to be fully qualified to undertake the role. Complete all mandatory training as required to attain and maintain competence.

Job Specific Environment and/or Organization

 

·       Fluent in English written and spoken. 

·       Singapore based working hours will require the occasional need to accommodate European business hours

 
 
 

Supplementary Information

Requirements

Candidates should have minimal experience in Software Engineering activities.

General:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills in a challenging industry
Autonomous, self-motivated and excellent team player.
Willing to learn and innovate in a highly collaborative environment
Fluency in English - as acting in a multi-cultural environment.
 

Technical (to adapt based on ARC requirements)
Understanding of Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.
Experience in back-end development using: NET, .NET Core, C#
Experience in any relational DB and language: MySQL, Oracle, SQLServer…
Basic understanding of web language: Javascript, JQuery, CSS, HTML5, Angular
Basic understanding of the Spring Framework, Microservices architecture and API.
 

Functional:
Good to have basic understanding of finance and investment banking concept
 

Nice to Have

·       Experience with AI/LLM integration (e.g., GPT-4).

·       Prior exposure to digital transformation or grant management platforms.

 

Education & Certifications

·       Fresher or Junior Level (less than 2 years of professional experience)

·       Master or Bachelor’s degree in relevant specialties
