Job summary

Summary of Position:

 

As a Director in the FCS ATM (Agency and Transaction Management) group

-       Perform the duties of CACIB as Administrative Agent, sole lender and participant supporting the Energy and Real Assets (ERA) origination team with a primary focus on real estate transactions ( i.e. commercial, retail, gaming and lodging etc.)

-       Perform additional tasks to monitor the portfolio as required.

 

Main Responsibilities:

 

-       Perform “CACIB as Agent” role for a portfolio of real estate, project finance and LBO transactions:

-       Assist on closings / CPs monitoring

-       Coordinate fundings with multiple institutions

-       Track, evaluate and distribute borrower deliverables (financials, covenants, UCC’s, flood insurance, etc.)

-       Monitor securities, guarantees and collateral

-       Evaluate CP’s for cash draws, lease payments, borrower distributions, etc.

-       Participate in bank meetings / conference calls

-       Liaise with lenders counsel and other industry experts

-       Negotiate routine waivers and amendments with borrowers and sponsors

-       Facilitate waiver and amendment requests with bank groups, including collecting and processing of participant lender approvals

-       Respond to borrower and investor questions

-       Coordinating the primary and secondary assignment processes as applicable.

-       Interface transversally with other departments (Front Office, Back-Office, Legal, Credit Risk etc)

-       Manage a portfolio of sole lender and participant transactions as required;

-       Maintain up to date data in CACIB’s internal applications, control and monitor portfolio;

-       Liaise with FCS management and data monitoring team in Paris to maintain data integrity through controls and reconciliations;

-       Lead and participate in special projects as needed

 

Duties encompass a high workload, detail oriented and time sensitive orientation.

 

Salary Range: $135k - $175k

Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent

Academic qualification / Speciality

Required: 

BA or BS in Finance or Accounting

 

Preferred:

MBA

Level of minimal experience

11 years and more

Experience

Required: 

  • 10+ years of experience in a real estate middle office/portfolio management role at a reputable investment bank. 
  • Deep experience in performing the administrative agency function at a notable investment bank.
