Job summary
London Intern in Credit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank’s loan syndication team within the Distribution and Asset Rotation department. The person will assist the team responsible for pricing and distributing loans for Corporate Borrowers, Corporate Acquisition Financings, Commodity Traders, Export Finance, Structured Commodity Finance, Funds finance and Financial institution transactions, within EMEA. The position is based in Credit Agricole CIB offices in London, UK.
Key Responsibilities
Supporting senior officers in the pricing and distribution of loan transactions
· Maintain and develop the teams comps database ensuring colleagues have access to timely data on pricing trends within the market
· Draft opinions, liquidity analysis and pricing sheets as necessary with the support of senior colleagues
· Contribute to pitch preparation where appropriate
· Prepare closing memos under the supervision and review by senior colleagues, in coordination with the Origination teams
· Prepare Powerpoint presentations supporting Global Sector Coordinator roles and Global Investor Coordinator roles
· Maintain database of recent Green Loan, Social Loan and Sustainability-Linked Loan transactions
· Prepare briefing memos, attend investor meetings (where relevant) and write call reports and meeting minutes
· Prepare and support the distribution activity on live transactions: open debtdomain site, draft invitation letters, take part in the bank meeting and roadshow organization, manage Q&A files
· Track activity, assist in the preparation of activity reports, including the quarterly management presentation and monthly fee review
· Track transactions via Diamond and ensure proper upkeep of files including Comparable Transactions and administrative trails
· Stay afloat with loan market trends including by preparing Monday Morning Meeting briefs

The team’s areas of responsibility include the distribution of:
a. Corporate loans including but not limited to:
i. Loans originated by the CLF Corporate origination teams
ii. Loans originated by the Corporate Acquisition Finance and Advisory (AFA) origination teams
iii. CLF-booked portfolio of assets
iv. Loans originated by the Caisse Regionale or LCL origination teams (CA CIB in an advisory role)
v. Corporate Term Loan B sold to institutional investors, in coordination with the Sponsor-coverage leverage team
vi. Schuldschein
vii. Euro PP Loan format
viii. Corporate SFI-booked assets (Structured Finance)
b. International Trade, Export and Transaction Banking loans including but not limited to:
i. Export Finance
ii. Structure Commodity Finance
iii. Commodity Traders
iv. Private Equity Fund Finance
