Summary

Within the project group, the business analyst will work on projects involving Capital Market Operations.


Capital Market Operations Project Team supports:


-Back Office: Equities, Fixed Income, FX-MM, Derivatives,
-Middle Office: Treasury, Credit, FX, IRD, Securitization & Collateral.
-Control & Reconciliation
Key Responsibilities
- Write business requirements/expression of needs.
- Validate specifications from a functional standpoint.
- Draft the test strategy and coordinate User Acceptance Tests.
- Manage the communication around projects to all stakeholders located in the US and Head office.
- Write and/or update operational procedures.
- Formalize process flows (functional and system-related mappings).
- Support and implement the change management actions (new products, new process definition, gap analysis formalization, post-implementation follow up, trainings, operational risk monitoring).
- Ensure post Go Live follow up actions.

Reporting to the head of Capital Market Operations Projects

Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent

Academic qualification / Speciality

Education Essential: Master’s degree

Experience Essential: 

  • 7 – 10 years’ experience required
  • Project Certifications (PMP, Six Sigma, Lean, Agile…) is a plus

Skills & Knowledge Required:

  • Knowledge of project management and project life cycle
  • Working Knowledge of Capital Market systems (e.g. Helix, Orchestrade, Sophis, Calypso, Phase3)
  • Working knowledge of Financial products (Bonds, Equities, Securitization)
  • Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Suite (XL, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Good oral, written & presentation skills

Skills & Knowledge Desired:

  • Knowledge of US Regulations (FED BONY, DTCC, FICC Clearer role, 15A6 reporting) and European Regulations (DFA, EMIR, Volcker…)
  • Ability to develop Macros
