Job summary

**This position will be under the Employee Referral Program in Hong Kong.


Department: Global Information Technology

Team: User Support




Provide technical support to end users and the deputy team lead of IT Helpdesk team.


Key Responsibilities


  • Assist the Team Leader in guiding, managing and monitoring the implementation of IT projects and ensure the achievement of quality results in a timely manner and oversee the operations of the Helpdesk team.
  • Deliver promptly and quality customer support services to all desktops in dealing room and mission- critical business.
  • Provide technical expertise, own all desktop responsibilities and liaise with users, application teams and vendors to resolve problems.
  • Excellent working experience and knowledge in Reuters, Bloomberg, Etrali dealer board and market data systems.
  • Ensure adherence to Group policies and standards.
  • Enhance support and operational procedures by streamlining processes and automation.
  • Manage desktop project implementations.

Minimal education level

Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent

Academic qualification / Speciality

Degree holders or above in IT related disciplines or equivalent

Level of minimal experience

3-5 years


  • At least 5 years' solid experience in trading floor/banking support of investment banks or finance industry with 2~3 years in the team management.

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and especially the MS Excel.

  • Good understanding IT operations with solid infrastructure management and infrastructure services provision
  • Superior sales skills (managerial role)

Excellent command of written and spoken English is a must
