Job summary

Role Summary

This role will be responsible for business development and strategic client coverage, ensuring all business activities conform to respective regulations and grow the platform in North America focusing on the elaboration and provision of innovative and value-add fund and asset servicing solutions to global asset managers.

Responsibilities

·         Deliver profit-generating opportunities through the creation and maintenance of a new business opportunity pipeline, focused on prospect origination and client growth. Pursue new business by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, growth potential, financials and firm priorities.

·         Combine industry, product and regulatory knowledge to provide clients and prospects with tailored advice and insights, enabling them to achieve their objectives. Engage with internal partners across product, operations, legal, compliance, risk, pricing and others to build innovative solutions.

·         Manage all aspects of a deal from origination to closing, including contract negotiation; own client or prospect strategy, engagement and align their needs to firm offerings

·         Leverage established network and CACEIS enterprise connectivity to generate new business and cross-sell opportunities.

·         Ensure deep connectivity at client and prospect’s executive, management and operational levels. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the fund management industry with a focus on offshore jurisdictions e.g. Cayman Islands, Luxembourg and Ireland and global trends.

·         Continuously develop an expert knowledge of the bank’s products, with particular focus on private capital services (provision of fund servicing and fund financing solutions to Private Equity, Real Estate, Private Debt and Infrastructure funds) , and the ongoing development of technological and data-driven solutions.

·         Drive CACEIS brand awareness through participations in industry bodies, conferences and trade associations.

Candidate criteria

Academic qualification / Speciality

Essential

-Degree qualified, CFA and/or CAIA is a plus

-Teamwork, clear values and humility is critical to the success of our mission and common goal: to operate as one highly-skilled, client-focused team executing flawlessly

-Be comfortable traveling up to 30% of the time; including domestic and international travel

 

Desirable

-International investment fund industry exposure and experience preferred (UCITS law and AIFMD)

-7 – 10 years’ related experience with demonstrable and successful track-record selling to institutions/asset managers with proven ability to build a pipeline and exceed sales target 

-Be comfortable in fast-paced environment, proven ability to balance a diverse set of priorities in a deadline oriented environment and be able to operate in a cross functional and international culture whilst embracing CACEIS core values

-Extensive network of contacts at C-suite and senior management level in the North American asset management industry


Desirable

 -Product knowledge of core investment management services including custody, fund administration, transfer agency, middle office, foreign exchange, credit, securities lending, cash management and data-solutions

-Fluent in French preferred, but not required
