Summary
In-house tax advisory role with strong technical and business exposure
Key Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Regional Head of Tax APAC:
- Support new product or activity tax work across the CIB business lines, including development of product, review of legal documentation, as well as related ongoing tax operational and compliance matters.
- Provide support in handling APAC region tax matters for the CACIB group including but not limited to tax advisory, planning and projects, tax compliance and others
- Oversee tax and consolidation reporting work related to APAC entities in liaison with local CFOs
- Contribute to different Transfer Pricing analysis and control process for the APAC region, including but not limited to the review of local files.
- In charge of Tax compliance matters in Hong Kong, in particular FATCA/AEOI related matters: reporting process, advisory to internal clients, update of the FATCA/AEOI intranet and reporting procedures
- Monitor and assess the impact of tax reform/regulatory changes in the Region
- Assistance on projects and other ad hoc duties assigned by Regional Head of Tax

Master/bachelor graduate in Tax Law or Business, Finance or Accountancy
5+ years relevant experience in the banking industry with solid understanding of the tax considerations of CIB activities.
