Summary
Join our dynamic Distribution and Asset Rotation department as a Loan Sales Intern, where you will play a crucial role in the execution of primary and secondary distribution tasks, provide vital market analysis, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our internal systems. This position is ideal for someone who is proficient in Microsoft Office, is capable of handling complex tasks with precision, and demonstrates effective communication, analytical thinking, and proactive problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
1. Primary and Secondary Distribution Assistance:
- Prepare feedback reports for primary syndications and collaborate with the syndicate to consolidate feedback.
- Develop marketing materials for distribution to investors.
- Monitor and assist in smoothing settlement issues following secondary trades.
- Organize weekly meeting schedules for distribution to other teams
2. Research and Market Analysis:
- Maintain and innovate within an investor activity database, including the preparation of league tables.
- Track trades and log sales activities for team members.
- Generate reports on market developments and investor behaviour.
- Monitor fund flows, CLO, and warehouse activities.
- Coordinate and distribute market updates on a weekly or biweekly basis.
- Monitor selected secondary levels and source market information to aid in trade recommendations and build LOR records for targeted secondary names.
3. Improvement of Internal Tools and Systems:
- Actively contribute to the enhancement of internal tools and systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.
