Summary

 

  • Prepare Management Control consolidated reports for Asia-Pacific based on Essbase data
  • Work under the supervision of the APAC Head of Finance on Head count and expenses monitoring, and under the supervision of the APAC Financial Steering and ALM team on NBI and RWA analysis
  • Coordinate and ensure consistency amongst other management controllers within Asia Pacific on all Management Accounting issues.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Extract Essbase data from all Asia-Pacific entities and maintain APAC consolidation databases
  • Work under the supervision of the APAC Financial Steering and ALM team to prepare monthly commentary to Regional Management.
  • Provide monthly regional consolidated financial statement to Regional Management and Business Line Managers.
  • Prepare presentation and analysis for the regional cost monitoring committee
  • Coordinate forecast and budget exercises between Head Office, Regional departments and Asia-Pacific entities, and provide consolidated budget view to Regional Management and Business Line Managers.
  • Provide APAC data and analysis on ad-hoc basis when required by Regional Management or the APAC Financial Steering and ALM team
  • Coordinate amongst other management controllers within Asia Pacific on all Management Accounting topics, including technical one (e.g. Essbase upgrade) and ensure consistency of methods, templates and processes and procedures
  • Be the first point of contact for Head-Office on Essbase and management Control related topics
  • Make use of innovative tools and infrastructure available to automate and streamline the reporting experience for internal clients (e.g. PowerBI)

Candidate criteria

Minimal education level

Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent

Academic qualification / Speciality

Bachelor Degree in Finance or relevant discipline.

Level of minimal experience

6-10 years

Experience

  • At least 7-8 years’ relevant experience in a Finance department, preferably with an investment bank, and with some experience in Management Control.

Required skills

  • A good team player, with strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
  • Good IT literacy and understanding of/experience with basic database concepts.

Technical skills required

  • Proficiency in MS Excel. PowerPoint skills and experience with PowerBI would be an advantage.

Languages

Good written and spoken English is required. French would be a plus.
