Job summary

The PWS Structurer’s main responsibility is structuring structured products of multiple types, variations and asset classes. The PWS Structurer must have good technical knowledge of structured products and related legal documents, be articulate and organised in order to deliver high quality work under tight deadlines. 

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Engineer wrapping, liquidity, bespoke, and risk transfer solutions along with FI and Corporate Structuring in order to optimise CACIB’s clients objective versus risk, accounting and/or regulatory constraints
  • Engineer and execute Repackaging Structuring and Financing (RFS) products for CACIB’s clients in coordination with RFS teams
  • Prepare & negotiate the documentation & execute repack and non-repack exotic structures
  • Interact closely with sales and ensure our product offer is relevant
  • Provide marketing assistance (including client calls or visits)
  • Ensure proper coordination with different units outside GMD (SFS, DOD, CPM, SFI business lines etc.) for the origination, conceptualisation, feasibility test and execution of the solutions (including repack, risk transfer, secured funding, loan intermediation etc.) appropriate to CACIB client’s base
  • Develop new products, present and coordinate their approvals
  • Manage and coordinate implementation projects on new products and activities which require a high level of legal structuring and execution
  • Maintain awareness of market & regulatory changes and potential impact / opportunities on products
  • Follow regulatory and legal developments affecting structured products, identify risks, propose solutions, initiate / join and contribute to in-house and industry working groups, implement solutions
  • Create and maintain templates of Confirmations & termsheets and disclosure documents compliant with local regulations and industry standards and definitions (ISDA, GMRA GMSLA) for a wide variety of structured products such as CLNs, Reverse Convertibles, Range Accruals, Digitals, Repacks, Structured Forwards / Options / Swaps / Strategies, Deal Contingent Swaps, Structured Repos, Bond Forwards, TRS
  • Represent Structuring in CA-CIB and Asset Backed programme updates
