Job summary

Crédit Agricole CIB’s Shipping & Offshore Finance Group is seeking a highly skilled Director to join its Structured Products & Distribution (SPD) team. This role focuses on Structured Leasing Solutions, with opportunities to contribute to other SPD activities such as capital market solutions and bespoke distribution channels.

 

You will play a key role in developing, marketing, and executing innovative leasing and structured finance products tailored for our global shipping and intermodal clients. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to work on complex, cross-border transactions in a dynamic and international environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Originate and structure tax-based and accounts-based leasing solutions for global shipping clients.
  • Develop financial models and prepare credit papers and analytical memoranda for internal approvals.
  • Lead the execution of leasing and structured finance mandates, including negotiation of documentation with law firms, accountants, and advisors.
  • Manage ongoing administration of executed transactions, including waivers, amendments, and restructurings.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver bespoke financing solutions.

Minimal education level

Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent

Academic qualification / Speciality

  • Degree educated (or equivalent). Chartered accountancy or tax qualification (ICAEW, CIOT, or international equivalent) desirable.

Experience

  • Previous experience in an international accountancy firm.
  • Exposure to transportation sector and cross-border structured finance transactions. Familiarity with tax-based or accounts-based financing structures

Required skills

  • Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to manage complex projects and work under pressure.
  • IT literacy (Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint).
