Job summary

Summary
Leading structuring and execution of securitization and private placement transactions globally, focused on key industry verticals within CACIB (primarily Rail, Shipping, Telecommunications and Energy) covered within Securitization and Infrastructure Capital Markets.

 

Key Responsibilities
1.     Strategy and Business Planning

Structuring / Execution / Credit

·         Driving the structuring and execution process of securitization and private placement transactions

·         Negotiation and liaison of key terms with clients, investors, lawyers, auditors, rating agencies and other external and internal groups in execution of transactions, taking in some cases responsibility for individual deals

·         Preparation and review of credit submissions and assisting Credit Department in evaluating securitization exposures for the Bank

 

2.     Management and Reporting

·         Report to Head of Infrastructure Capital Markets and to Head of Corporate Origination, on the progress of the business and specific issues (p&l and risks) on Capital Markets Transactions primarily, including ABS and Private Placements.

 

3.     Risks
·         In conjunction with Head of Infrastructure Capital Markets and Head of Corporate Origination, work to establish overall risk parameters for transactions

 

4.     Counterparties and clients
·         Develop and maintain relationships with clients of CACIB, investors, rating agencies, law firms and peers at other banks.

5.     Communication
Key Internal Contacts

Interaction with the relevant client coverage teams

Securitization teams and senior management in Crédit Agricole CIB globally

Coordination with relevant support functions (risk and operations, credit and legal department)

GMD Sales and Trading, including Private Placement Desk

 

Key External Contacts

Securitization clients in the context of the structuring and the execution of transactions

Law firms, coordinating all the transaction documentation and the execution process, in close coordination with in-house legal

Rating agencies and audit firms whenever necessary

Accompany sales to investor clients, where necessary, to explain product or explain transactions.

Minimal education level

Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent

Academic qualification / Speciality

  • Bachelor's required
  • Post graduate degree desirable

Level of minimal experience

6-10 years

Experience

Experience in the execution of securitization and structured finance transactions, including ABS and Private Placements

 

Series 7, 63 required or willing to pass

Required skills

Strong quantative, analytical and modelling skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in an international environment

Marketing skills

Good presentation skills

Strong Analytical skills: cash-flow modelling

Knowledge of corporate banking, credit products and other funding alternatives
