Summary of the Position
- Responsible for the risk analysis of credit applications from CIB, CLF, ERA & ITB-GCF business lines (only where CACIB SG is PCO unit in the case of latter), covering the following geographies: Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand;
- As Local Representative of RPC, assist to co-ordinate / liaise with Regional / HO teams on queries relating to risk matters (eg coordination of replies to MAS surveys, queries from local Management, internal and external Auditors; Regulators…) for other business lines where RPC risk is not present at Branch.
- Active contribution to RPC projects that may involve the Singapore team.
- A team player who will present an effective and communicative interface with Management / FO / Business lines / RPC.
Main Responsibilities
- Analyzing FO Requests, conducting financial & credit analysis, transaction analysis and writing concise and succinct risk opinions.
- Preparation / coordination / participation to Portfolio Reviews and ad hoc discussions on risks.
- Ensure that annual reviews and ratings are reviewed in a timely manner.
- Determine the appropriate risk ratings in Anadefi (calculation, proposal & validation) for groups and counterparties & to be able to provide strong justification for divergences.
- Ensure that approved risk strategies / CSP decisions are consistently adhered to.
- Ensure that risks are compliant with internal procedures and local regulations.
- On watch with regards to our client’s newsflows, financials, corporate and sectorial developments.
- Close interaction with the Front Office to keep a good understanding of their needs and forthcoming pipeline.
- Active participation to the weekly Local Credit Risks Committee.
- Contribute to Early Warning, Early Detection and Country CSPs on request by RPC-AP.
- Active contribution to RPC projects and transformation initiatives.
- Grow ESR expertise within RPC. Ensures that HO associated decisions/ strategies are complied with. Advise the team and FO on ESR matters.

Minimal education level
Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent
Academic qualification / Speciality
- Bachelors in Business Administration, Accounting and Finance; with a specialization in Risk will be preferable.
- At least 5 years of experience working in Corporate Counterparty Risks, or in general Risk teams in the financial sector.
- Strong understanding and fundamentals of credit analysis, policies and protocols within this sector.
- Motivated team player, with good communication (verbal and written) skills.

6-10 years
