Job summary

The Financial Steering and ALM Division is responsible for, the following product lines: Profit and Internal Pricing (PIP), Financial Analysis, and Assets and Liabilities Management (ALM) within Crédit Agricole CIB Americas.

PIP is in charge of the valuation of scarce resources and consists in:

•   Defining the internal liquidity pricing framework for all business lines.

•   Measuring and analyzing the profitability of the Bank’s commercial relationships through the use of ex-ante and ex-post PIs

•   Profitability Indicators, defined as the NBI net of liquidity cost and cost of risk to the RWAs.

Supplementary Information

Credit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank is seeking to fill an Associate position for its Financial Steering and ALM group in New York. The candidate will hold an undergraduate or graduate degree in business/finance, engineering, or economics. Qualified applicants should have knowledge of credit analysis in commercial and investment banking. An understanding on subject related to ALM, Credit Portfolio Management, Risk Management or Basel regulation is a plus.

The PIP Associate main responsibilities and tasks consist of:
•   Support management of all aspects of the Business Pipeline committee and application, including business analysis in support of system integrity. Ensure that all delegate members and the respective business line teams have received an effective and clear agenda scheduling. This includes ensuring the smooth operation of the BPC meeting, preparing and distributing minutes, and providing any relevant follow-up information.
•   Assist BL in better understanding capital, liquidity, and Profitability Indicator (PI) from an Economic and/or Regulatory standpoint, as well as provide advice on term-sheet/structure and how to optimize transaction/relationship.
•   Act as a liaison between the various front offices and the CPM on BPC and PI modeling.
•   Ensure proper data maintenance in BPC and PI-related systems.
•   Coordinate and foster communication with HO on team-related topics, such as PI Simulations.

Minimal education level

Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent

Academic qualification / Speciality

Undergraduate degree in business/finance

3-4 years as a credit analyst/assistant to departmental manager

Prior experience within CACIB branch or HO is a plus

Languages: English, Spanish, and/or French is a plus
