Job summary

Key Responsibilities:

Infrastructure Management:
- Management of hardware (servers, storage and workstations), software and IT security applications, and network components like routers and switches, firewalls.

- Perform hardware and software upgrade as and when required.

- Apply security standards recommended by DRSSI and validated by local security officer.


IT Systems Technical Support:
- Provide 2nd level technical support. Coordinate with regional and global counterparts, and vendors for follow-up of problems.

- Perform regular compliance maintenance of Servers Endpoints.

- Active Directory Users and Management.

- Technical skills of Group Policy management for Servers and Endpoints.

- Technical knowledge of Access rights management.

- Perform file/directory-level permission on data storage systems.

- Licensing review and renewal of Software’s (Windows / Linux / IBM MQ etc).

- Process improvement and explore automation of tasks for efficient management of IT.

- External Vendor Management

- Oversight & Management of CASPL IT Helpdesk Support and Project activities

Network Management:
- Perform network troubleshooting and co-ordinate with regional/global counterparts on LAN/MAN/WAN network connectivity issues.

- Coordinate with vendors on Windows, Hyper-V Servers, SAN and Network equipment’s and telecommunication problem solving issues.
- Perform network and network devices management tasks.

Documentation:
- Preparation of procedures, User guides, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)  etc.

End User Support and Operational Training

E-mail system Support:
- Coordinate with regional/global team of Administrators for related problems.

Physical Security:
- Maintenance and security of the Primary and DR Datacenter’s.

- Blocking of USB removal storage on all servers and endpoints.

- Annual Hardware Maintenance Contract Renewal for OEM support & Business continuity.

- Maintain availability of DR site Servers and equipment’s with up-to-date data for high availability and Redundancy of IT Systems and Data.

IT Security Operations / Data Security and Proactive Monitoring :
- Maintain DLP compliance up to date as per group standard.

- Maintain monthly / yearly backup of Critical Systems and perform periodic restoration tests.

- Manage Tape Inventory at Offsite Storage as per Regulatory requirement.

- Ensure the successful restoration of backed-up data.
- Hardening of Windows using GPO’s and security of Network devices.

- Ensuring of Device logging to SIEM.

 - Performing Proactive monitoring and security protective measures such as firewalls, antivirus software, and multi-factor authentication (MFA).

 

 

Supplementary Information

Market Data Support:

- Management of various Market data applications i.e. Lseg Refinitiv and Bloomberg.

- Market data links monitoring and troubleshooting.

- Invoice processing in local invoice tool for management validation and approval.

Regulatory Applications Support and Regulatory Reporting:

- Management of Regulatory Payment and clearing system applications i.e. SFMS, CCIL NDS-OM, NDS-CALL, TREPS, ASTROID, FX-CLEAR, NGRTGS.  

- Regulatory data links monitoring and troubleshooting.

- Support for Regulatory Quarterly, Yearly Tranche Data Reporting,

- Support for Cyber Security Data Reporting.

Project Management :

- Project Management for Server, Desktop, Applications and Infrastructure.

Audit and Regulatory Governance & Compliance :

- Responsible for providing Data for various Regulatory, Head Office and Concurrent audits.  

- Timely Remediation of audit observations.
