The Sales MO analyst will assist the team in the execution of control and support functions for our Global Markets Division sales desks. The team’s main responsibility is to ensure the timeliness of trade capture, amendment, cancellation, validation, deal flow and life cycle events in FO systems.
MOS Sales is an external facing function working with the operational team of our clients on post trade request (novations / allocations / booking error / failed settlement) requiring good communication skills, as you’ll be representing the company to our clients.
Internally MOS Sales assist the various sales desks in booking issues providing front line support.
Responsible for the successful settlement of the sales activities (ie. All capital market products : bonds, interest rate swaps, FX, MM…) This includes liaison with clients and counterparts, the Paris back office and various technical support desks. The The Sales MO analyst ensures clients services (i.e. escalation contact point). He/she also carries out various reports to Sales and management.
Key Responsibilities
1. Allocation flow processing: Management Allocation process on local shift in collaboration with MO HK Teams (Bonds, FX)
2. Settlement facilitator: Smoothen settlement (fails follow up…) in collaboration with CMO BO teams and GMD. Acting as escalation point of contact for clients as well. Prioritize client requests
3. Business support
- Direct client facing response to ad hoc requests - versus internal coordination
- Support Business Development (NAP studies, internal coordination CMO for new needs etc)
- Problem solving between Sales, Trading, BO and Clients
- Participate in projects such as new markets/product development, improving deal workflow, new regulations and market rules.
4. Risk & procedures :
- Ensure controls and procedures are followed to support the business and reduce operational risk.
- Propose and formalize any improvements on controls and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with CA CIB CMO and CA CIB London governance and organization directives.
- Ensure COSMOS controls are completed on a daily basis.
- Reporting.

- Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory and internal Compliance requirements.
- Maintain appropriate knowledge to ensure to be fully qualified to undertake the role. Complete all mandatory training as required to attain and maintain competence.
