For the International Business Solutions team in Frankfurt, we are looking for a

 

 

Manager for the International Desk - Germany & Switzerland (f/m/d)

 

 

The International Business Solutions team is part of the Crédit Agricole (CA) Group. Its head office is based in Paris, but all 44 employees work for 90 countries in 15 different desks worldwide. The team is looking for a new Manager for the German & Swiss desks based in Frankfurt, Germany. The candidate will assist the corporate clients of Crédit Agricole Group (mainly CACIB Midcaps department, regional banks and CA retail banks worldwide) regarding all services proposed by CACIB Frankfurt and its partner banks in the region. The candidate should act as a commercial banker, while being the point of contact for clients, all internal CA Group entities, as well as for the local service providers and partner banks.

 


Key responsibilities

 

Advisory and service providing

  • Advisor role for all clients, providing them with banking and non-banking information
  • Internal promotion of all scope of services and providing information to the distribution network
  • Responsible for sustaining a network of partner banks in the region and local service providers (Altios, Business France, Chambers of Commerce)

Commercial banking

  • Supervision of the client portfolio in CACIB Germany: Relationship management, Analysis of needs, products offering (i.e. cash management and credit facilities), monitoring of the risks & the NBI, as well as preparation of all KYC and credit applications files
  • Opening of accounts and set up of credit facilities within CACIB Germany or partner banks
  • Development of the client basis in Germany, while ensuring clients’ loyalty
  • Budget proposal and follow-up, reporting of all activities in our internal systems and monitoring of the profitability of the client portfolio

 
Qualifications

  • Postgraduate degree with a Business or Engineering background
  • Between 5 to 8 years’ experience in a similar role in the banking industry - as a Relationship Manager or in a commercial role
  • Knowledge of trade finance solutions would be valuable
  • Fluency in French and English, good knowledge of German
  • Strong presentation skills (PowerPoint preparation and pitch)
  • Autonomous way of working
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
