Summary of Role
The role consists of specifying, analyzing and designing solutions related to the distribution of data within the various businesses of CaciB.The Senior Data business analyst will be in charge of managing developments on the functional scope related to data manipulation. Its main activities will consist of:
- Contribute with business stakeholders to the specification of APIs or other data distribution methods related to specific use cases (transaction reporting, market activity monitoring, data quality controls, data analysis for sales/traders, data feed for IA or machine learning platform, etc..)
- Implement good data modeling practices;
- Facilitate and coordinate data modeling work with business teams, in particular Business Data Architects,
- Design functional and technical data models (conceptual model, logic);
- Participate in the stages of Data Dictionarization and Data Lineage
- Contribute to the definition of processes and management rules for Data Quality;
- Analyze the impacts of data quality remediation plans and update, if necessary, the data models concerned.
- Participate in the design of data distribution solutions.
- Investigate existing data universes and propose solutions to distribute them
- Contribute to the implementation of a Data Mesh architecture;

The new solutions will augment the platform which delivers services which comply with Regulatory Pre-trade and Post-trade requirements, and in future will be extended to provide additional features including visualisation and digitalisation.
The platform will ultimately be used for a wide range of Pre and Post trade business critical functionality beyond the immediate regulatory constraints.

Legal and Regulatory Responsibilities
Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory and internal Compliance requirements, including, but not limited to, the London Compliance manual and Compliance policies and procedures as issued from time to time; Financial Security requirements, including, but not limited to, the prevention of Financial Crime and Fraud including reporting obligations to the Money Laundering Reporting Officer.
Maintain appropriate knowledge to ensure to be fully qualified to undertake the role. Complete all mandatory training as required to attain and maintain competence.
ESSENTIAL:
Higher Education (Degree or equivalent) in computer science, maths, physics or engineering
