International Desk North America Overview
Department based at Crédit Agricole CIB in New York assisting startups and midcaps referred by and to the Crédit Agricole Group network with respect to banking and business development services.
Mission:
• Support the International Desk as a point of contact for the Crédit Agricole Group and their clients in daily business. Respond to requests largely coming from the Regional Banks of Crédit Agricole, LCL, Le Village by CA and Crédit Agricole Italia.
Duties:
• Assist in coordinating with US and Canadian banks regarding inbound and outbound corporate referrals.
• Support and actively participate in building up and maintaining the US, Canadian and European network for the International Desk. Facilitate client access to target markets by working with various business development partners, government entities, legal and fiscal experts as well as other service providers.
• Act as an additional point of support for potential sources of referral back to the Crédit Agricole Group network.
•Coordinate with various Crédit Agricole CIB departments in the US and Canada as necessary, i.e. credit requests, LC issuances and hosting startups.
• Research information on US and Canadian companies, industries and markets. 
•Aid in reporting requirements and liaise with CA Group International Business Solutions team in Paris.
• Prepare presentations for the Crédit Agricole Group network and their clients and work on special research projects.
• Assist in organizing and hosting Crédit Agricole Group visits in the US and Canada (bankers and/or their clients).

Compétences recherchées

Hard Skills:
- Knowledge of the commercial banking system would be beneficial;
- Ability to provide an analysis / business or marketing reaction to any client news flow and relevant industry events.

Soft Skills:
- Ability to manage multiple tasks / projects at once across different clients, product groups, cultures;
- Responsible, proactive, commercially-minded, imaginative, trustworthy, accurate, organized;
- Comfortable dealing with clients;
- Resourceful approach to conducting research.

Outils informatiques

- Microsoft Office
- Various internal and external programs and tools.

Langues

English and French fluency required. Proficiency in Italian would be a plus
