This is an exciting opportunity to join the FX Middle Office department to assist the team on a day to day basis.

Key Responsibilities

The main responsibility is to assist in controlling and guaranteeing the accuracy and timeliness of the trade capture, amendment and life cycle events in FO systems.

The position holder will be cross trained to be able to perform both FX Vanilla MO support tasks and structured products MO tasks.

You will be required to assist in validation for all trades input by the Structuring desks in Paris and London in Murex FCO. This will Include checking static data, and using term sheets to recreate the structured payoffs to reconcile the recreated payoff against the booking in the Blotter of the Structuring Desk (FCS Blotter) and in the FO trading system Murex FCO.

Essential role requirements

• University graduate with a minimum classification of 2:1 or equivalent. Or an undergraduate currently during a course of study, predicted a minimum classification of 2:1 or equivalent
• Proficient in Excel
• Rigour and sense of organisation
• Autonomy
• Capacity to cooperate/Ability to work across disciplines
• High technical and analytical ability

Desirable role requirements

• Educated to MA level in a finance/business discipline or equivalent
• Middle Office / Back Office experience in FX and derivatives products and FX Options Knowledge
• VBA, Macros
• French language skills
• FX Structured Products knowledge
