Summary
Front Office eFX IT operations role with direct interaction with the Business users, Development teams and Senior IT Mgmt.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead the team of eFX IT operations and support specialists, responsible for the delivery, operational capabilities and support of IT services to the Global FX Sales and Trading teams; providing 1st and 2nd line trade floor support, incident management and resolution.

· Represent the operations function at the eFX IT Leads level, including input into designs, priorities and functional coordination between teams.
· Coordinate incident management response both on the day and also engaging in the follow-up investigations and action plans
· Engage with venues and the development team around co-ordination of rollouts, FIX connectivity etc.
· Providing functional and technical support of eFX systems to our Global user base, both internal and external.
o Support and troubleshooting of CA-CIB single dealer platform and all associated external feeds and connections to both Clients and our low-latency partners.
o Support of CA-CIB eFX pricing aggregation, models, distribution and connectivity to ECN channels; including maintenance of ECN portals, tick database (KDB) and subsequent STP flow.
o Maintenance and creation of team knowledge base on known issues with accurate updates of new processes and high level architectural diagrams.
o Partnering with the Development, QA and Infrastructure teams to deliver system enhancements, changes and bug fixes within a structured process so as to promote Production stability.
o Work within the 24x7 rota, this is on an “on-call” basis.
o Conform to all internal policies and procedures.
o Manage customer relations when dealing directly with both internal and external users of the systems.

o Ensuring that JIRA / Service centre requirements around incidents are met and followed up.
o Ensuring that time management software and ticketing is consistent and accurate.
· Working with Development and Project partners to become SME on allocated topics.
o Assisting in the completion and timely delivery of projects.
o Testing, including writing test scripts, for new releases.
o Responsible for training the Global support teams.
o Assist the tracking of both time and resources on the projects.
o Ensure timely updates to WIKIs and other documentation.

Minimal education level

Academic qualification / Speciality
Degree preferably in Computer Science

Experience
Experience in IT for capital market (business, products, applications)
Extensive experience supporting a live eFX Trading environment
Strong experience providing technical support for FX or Fixed Income Desks within an Investment Bank.
Required skills
Strong Client Focus (understanding of their business and the impact caused by incidents and problems) and ability to face demanding clients
Ability to work under pressure in a demanding and fast paced Trading Floor.
