Summary

Within the CA Group International Business Solutions Department (“PAI”, whose Head is lodged with CACIB in Paris), the International Desk "Asia-Pacific", based in Hong Kong offers to the Corporate clients of the CA Group (mainly the Regional Banks, LCL, BPI and Pôle ETI) coaching in Asia (excluding Japan) and a privileged access to the services and networks of CACIB and partner banks in the region.

 

Key Responsibilities

Nature and scope of services

Services to clients

  • Provide banking and non-banking information and advice to customers

     

  • Provide banking solutions: account openings, cash management, financings…

     

  • Support the setting up of companies

     

  • Exceptionally, provide identity and bank information, tracking of lost payments, fraud prevention, assistance to individuals (account openings, various information…)


Services to CA Group entities

  • Internal promotion of services and information on the local environment to the networks

     

  • “Commercial Action Plans” comprising meetings with selected clients and prospects of the networks, diagnosis of needs and advice, follow-up of commercial activity

     

  • Speeches in seminars, conferences, public relation operations (e.g. with Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Business France…) in France and abroad and organisation of client meetings

     

  • Assistance to the organisation of local missions of CA Group Board of Directors, clubs,…

Relations with CACIB and local service providers

  • GRM for the CR/LCL/BPI clients in Asia. Manages the relations with the various operational staff in CACIB branches, promotion of CA Group within CACIB’s Asian network, follow-up and assessment of the commercial banking offer of service in CACIB branches,

     

  • If needed search for banking partnerships to complete the CACIB offer and maintain close relationship with those banks

     

  • Maintain a network of local service providers (law offices, accountants, …), follow-up of Altios, Business France, Chambers of Commerce, …

Commercial Banking

  • Responsible for the CR/LCL/BPI/Pôle ETI client portfolio in HK + supervision of the portfolios in the other CACIB Branches in Asia (except Japan): analysis of needs, provide products (among which cash management, credit facilities), monitor the risks and the NBI

     

  • Development of the client base in Asia: client calls and prospects

     

  • Follow-up of client relations and yearly performance, with the CACIB entities in Asia and the French and Italian networks

     

  • Monitoring of the profitability of the client portfolio in Asia (amount of NBI generated in the region, as fixed in the yearly budget)
