Overview of DCM Solutions & Advisory:

  • DCM Solutions & Advisory is in charge of advising issuers globally on capital and Liability Management, along with the DCM Bankers
    The team is in charge of structuring, pitching and preparing the issuance of capital and subordinated instruments and Liability Management Exercises. For Liability Management, the team is as well in charge of the execution of the transactions
    The team is client facing and works with CACIB’s global client base (financial institutions, SSA and corporates) and participates in developing CACIB DCM’s franchise, with a strong alignment with DCM Bankers, Coverage in particular

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the DCM Solutions & Advisory senior team members in performing analysis, building up recommendations and producing pitches
    Prepare market updates / case studies on relevant trades in the market to be circulated with DCM.
    Maintain the Liability Management and Corporate Hybrid databases
    Co-operate with other business line as needed (ratings advisory, Legal, sales, ECM…)
    Report to management on the progress of the business and specific issues


  • The role involves extensive communication with internal (DCM, Coverage, Syndicate, Legal & Compliance teams) as well as external contacts (CACIB clients, law firms, rating agencies)

Legal and Regulatory Responsibilities:

  • Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory and internal Compliance requirements, including, but not limited to, the London Compliance manual and the Financial Crime Policy. Complete any mandatory training in line with legal, regulatory and internal Compliance requirements.
  • Maintain appropriate knowledge to ensure to be fully qualified to undertake the role. Complete all mandatory training as required to attain and maintain competence.
  • Refrain from taking any steps which could lead to the removal of certification of fitness and propriety to perform the role.
  • Undertake all necessary steps to satisfy the annual certification process.
  • Comply with all applicable conduct rules as prescribed by the relevant regulator.

Candidate criteria

Minimal education level

Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent

Academic qualification / Speciality

In order to be considered for this position you must be educated to undergraduate Degree level (or equivalent) or above with the minimum classification of 2:1. It would be seen as advantageous if your degree is in Business, Economics, Accounting or Finance.

- A high level of aptitude and strong working knowledge of Bloomberg, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (you will be asked to demonstrate this as part of this interview process).

- Prior experience within Debt Capital Markets or Rating Advisory would be seen as highly advantageous.


Fluency in English is required, fluency in another European language would be seen as advantageous
