Summary

 

i.     The GRM works under the guidance of one Senior Banker on the coverage of a portfolio of Corporate clients.

ii.     His/her mission is to develop, or to assist the Senior Banker in developing a lasting and profitable global relationship for the Bank with its clients and strengthen its position against competitors

  • Develop the Net Banking Income after liquidity costs
  • Ensure business mix quality through cross selling (products and geographies) on full CACIB / CA Group service offering
  • Optimise resources (RWA, Liquidity …)
  • Maximise profitability

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute proactively to portfolio budget and active engagement on all aspects of relationship management under the guidance of Senior Banker in charge of a portfolio of large HK based corporates.
  • Develop and increase business penetration at subsidiaries across geographies of client groups, particularly in relation to Commercial Banking and Trade products.
  • Responsible for liaising with offshore branches on all aspect of their business dealings with subsidiaries of clients in the portfolio. 
  • Leveraging balance sheet support to cross sell a full spectrum of products and co-ordinating with product specialists in deal origination and providing support during execution including negotiation of terms and documentation (Loan agreement, ISDA etc)  of transactions with clients in the portfolio.
  • Understand and keep up-to-date on client’s strategy, businesses and financial situation and anticipate its needs for financial services including but not limited to pro-active research on internet, press and other information sources.
  • Report regularly to the Senior Banker about major events: business opportunity with clients, commercial incident and significant change in client’s profitability, administrative issues to the solved and be aware of challenges and stakes linked to client industry, location or sector.   
  • Maintain and keep updated on major events and acquisition targets of clients in the portfolio and identify with product partners across metiers and senior banker to offer the best of our “know-how” to find appropriate solutions suited to client’s needs.
  • Handles all aspects of the client relationship including directing or coordinating the execution of various types of transactions including preparation of Front Office request for credit approval,  profitability simulation in deal origination and set up/periodic review of KYC profile, preparation of call briefings and meeting reports.
