Job summary

**This position will be under the Employee Referral Program in Hong Kong.

 

Summary

Develop and manage a portfolio of priority group of mid to large cap corporate relationships in the Hong Kong market under the supervision of Head of HK Corporate Group.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive account plans for relationships assigned and prospects identified to optimize resources and maximize profitability for the Bank.
  • Handle all aspects of the client relationship including directing or coordinating the execution of various types of transactions and report regularly to the Head of HK Corporate Group about major events
  • Directly responsible for cross-selling and co-ordinating with the relevant business lines to originate the Bank’s corporate and investment products such as interest rate & currency hedging, bond origination, bilateral and syndicated loans, trade finance and cash management, asset backed finance and M&A. Special focus should be placed on promoting the Bank’s priority on sustainability and energy transition.
  • Understand and anticipate the risks associated with the activities of the Bank and hold the primary responsibility for counterparty risks along with the concerned business lines.  Proactively manage risks related to each transaction, along with the concerned business lines, to anticipate default situations and minimize specific provisioning.
  • Facilitate access of other Branches and Units within CA-CIB global network to work with the Bank’s corporate clients in Hong Kong
  • Follow compliance principles and internal rules of the Bank to ensure that they are in strict compliance.

Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent

Academic qualification / Speciality

  • Degree holder, preferably in Accountancy/Finance/Business Administration or relevant discipline

Level of minimal experience

11 years and more

Experience

  • Minimum 10 years relevant experience in Corporate Banking sales and relationship management
  • Relevant experience in Corporate Banking sales and relationship management
