Job summary

Summary

Position based in New York, within the Risk Division, to assist the CUSO (“Combined US Operations”) Operational Risk team with oversight of the Third Party Risk Programs within the CUSO perimeter, which currently primarily consists of activities conducted in the US by Credit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank and Amundi US, along with other transverse and day-to-day tasks of the team. The team participates in the reinforcement of the local implementation of Credit Agricole SA Group risk monitoring standards while ensuring US specificities and requirements are properly taken into account. The team is more specifically in charge of:

-          Assisting the CUSO Chief Risk Officer to review the risks of the Combined US Operations.

-          Preparing / Consolidating the presentations (in coordination with the relevant departments) for the CUSO Operational Risk Bureau

 

 

Responsibilities

As member of CUSO Third Party Risk Team:

Asses the ability of the CUSO Vendor Risk Management teams to oversee and manage the banking organizations third party relationships.  Attend governance forums aligned with Vendor Risk Management and provide credible challenge.
Review the impact assessment of vendor relationships on the banking organization’s risk profile by selectively reviewing and challenging the inherent risk assessment and associated due diligence questionnaires associated with cyber risk, financial risk, BCP.
Provide quality assurance on periodic monitoring activities.
Escalate material risks identified through oversight and quality assurance activities and the results of oversight and quality assurance activities through CUSO governance
Participate in incident management associated with critical vendors.
Participate in the development of remedial actions to enhance the Vendor Risk Managment programs across the CUSO to ensure appropriateness and sustainability.  Review progress of remedial actions.
Develop and enhance procedures, which detail the expectations of the CUSO TPRM oversight role.
 

Others

The Risk Division in New York is consistently strengthening its risk framework to provide effective monitoring and meet industry best practices. As such, the team member will also:

-          Assist on this project, by ensuring the implementation of solid methodologies, clearly documented.

-          Assist the CUSO ORM Team and collaborate with CUSO and CUSO entities’ TPRM teams on various transverse projects to strengthen the CUSO risk framework.

Support members of the CUSO Risk and Entities’ Risk Team in their day-to-day tasks and other projects.

-          Follow up on upcoming new regulatory requirements and their impact for the Risk division.

-          Follow up on industry developments and on changes in the risk environment, which could affect the US activities.

Academic qualification / Speciality

  • College Degree BA/BS required
    • In Finance/Business preferred.

Level of minimal experience

6-10 years

Experience

  • 6-10 years' experience in irsk management preferably managing third party risk.
  • 2nd LOD oversight of third party risk management.

Required skills

Strong attention to details with excellent analytical skills.

 

Strong MS Excel and PowerPoint skills

 

Very good communication and organization skills.

 

Resourceful in identifying issues / trends, following up and resolving issues.

 

Strong team spirit and work ethic.

 

Knowledge of banking products and associated risks.
