Crédit Agricole CIB Australia supports Australian business through financial product offerings to leading Australian and multinational corporates, financial institutions and the government sector. The geographic responsibility of Crédit Agricole CIB Australia extends to New Zealand and Papua New Guinea.
The role will provide junior support for the SCO/Coverage division within Crédit Agricole’s Corporate and Investment Bank. This includes the provision of relationship management duties, new business origination, portfolio management, writing annual credit reviews and transactional credit application assistance, Know-Your-Client (KYC) on-boarding and reviews, and maintaining various internal systems. The role will include support of both the Corporate and Financial Institution client portfolios alongside direct support for the Senior Country Officer in completion of strategic managerial requirements.
Your concrete missions will be the following:
- SCO Support
- Support work on strategic projects and business development initiatives of CACIB Australia branch.
- Coordinate implementation of those projects with relevant local and/or regional/HO teams behalf of the SCO and under his guidance.
- Follow-up client revenues and profitability for Australia, prepare ad-hoc analysis.
- Prepare various presentations to both internal and external interlocutors.
- Front Office Coverage Support:
- Assist the Coverage Bankers to manage a diversified corporate and financial institution client portfolio in Australia and New Zealand
- Support the Coverage Bankers on client relationship management with a focus on integrated solutions for corporate and structured finance, corporate risk management (fx, interest rates), debt capital markets, and trade finance.
- Liaison with CACIB’s Sustainable Banking (ESG) team across client relationships and new business opportunities
- KYC
- Coordinate client on-boarding and KYC processes
- Liaise with internal GCM team, Compliance, coverage bankers and cliens
- Credit applications / new transaction support
- Credit application assistance, together with relevant Front Office divisions (incl Annual Reviews, LdG)
- New business memos, internal rating grids, transaction documentation, etc
- Provide assistance for the on-boarding of clients, execution and closing of transactions
- General duties
- Junior support to team head / coverage bankers
- Assist with the preparation of financial, regulatory, management and Head Office reporting requirements, as required
- Maintain an effective working relationship within the team and across the bank including the promotion of a cooperative and team oriented work environment
To be eligible for a VIE in India:
- Be less than 28 years old
- Be postgraduate of a Master degree
- Be EU citizen
- Be graduated less than a year
