Job summary

The Department and position
The department is responsible for development and maintenance of Capital Market applications used by worldwide users covering Market Risk, Front Office and Back Office domaine. The applications are in-house developments with a mix of Microsoft and open source technologies.
Recent years have seen unprecedented evolution to the technical infrastructure available to answer still more challenging regulation. The open position is to join one major investment project to answer to FRTB regulation. To be ready to tackle the regulatory requirement, the Market Risk Information System platform is being redesign to be global and adaptable enabling automated reporting and real-time processing and monitoring. The MArket riSk dAta Intelligence project will transform the Market Risk application landscape as it was known to bring it to the next level.

Main responsibilities
Team management

  • Ensure operational efficiency of her teams in their activities
  • Optimize the sourcing composition (role, skills, seniority) to perform/deliver the activities under his/her responsibilities

QA Strategy and solution

  • Build QA strategy through the SDLC enhancing the global maturity level of QA process
  • Build QA strategy based on the business process
  • Developing QA core building blocks and framework to efficiently onboard new QA activities

As Test Automation Engineer:

  • Ability to build automated test solution from the beginning using cucumber, selenium or Cypress
  • Coordination with application support (BA and developers) and other tester colleagues on creating the automation test suite.
  • Preparing good documentation of each automated test process.

As Integration Tester:

  • Under the supervision of team head, the candidate should be able to handle the different integration test phases (planning, test functional coverage and adequacy with functional content) and to manage regression test, integration test on functional test campaign.
  • Maintain up to date test libraries (test cases)
  • Handle application testing (manually and automated)
  • Prepare regular reports on test results
  • The position requires autonomy and reliability in performing duties while maintaining close communication with rest of project/support team.

Qualifications and Profile


  • Knowledge in Cypress, Selenium
  • Knowledge on Cucumber/Fitness test definition
  • Working experience in BDD automation framework
  • Build tool - Maven/sbt/ant, UML, Restful web services, Jenkins/Team City, Source management – SVN/GIT, TDD using Junit, Jira/Xray.

Good to have

  • Knowledge of Big Data environment (experience with HortonWorks distribution is a plus)
  • Experience in Java, C#, Python programming
  • Basic understanding of finance and investment banking especially Market Risk.
