Job summary

**This position will be under the Employee Referral Program in Hong Kong.


Department: Financing & Trade Operations

Team: Transaction Banking Operations




Supports the implementation of the Bank’s cash management products and improves the quality of such products, including:

- Product management

- Operations and Administration

- Support to TB Sales and Coverage

- Other Operational Support Service


Key Responsibilities


1.     Product management

  • Perform comprehensive testing on new product / features before deployment in Production environment, and to write up Operation Manual
  • Evaluates and recommends modifications to enhance the operational efficiency of the Bank’s existing cash management products

2.     Operations and Administration

  • Contracts maintenance for electronic banking product offer
  • Maintain and improve the OPTIM Customer Control Database
  • Prepare the monthly transaction statistics on OPTIM for business monitoring, and enriched statistics to facilitate LPS Sales to take appropriate sales actions to target clients
  • Assist in the write/update operational procedure manuals and user guides

3.     Support to TB Sales and Coverage

  • Set up demo environment to facilitate TB Sales on product presentation and user training
  • Provide technical support to TB Sales on OPTIM problem at customer site, including demonstration, user training and problem encountered during payment initiations
  • Answer direct customer inquiries on questions in using OPTIM in case of local OPTIM Manager is unavailable or absence


4.     Other Operational Support Service

  • Provide technical support on problem related to OPTIM and eForm

Candidate criteria

Minimal education level

Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent

Academic qualification / Speciality

• Degree preferably in a Computer Science.

Level of minimal experience

3-5 years


• Experience in IT and/or Payment/Trade Back Office

Required skills

• Good communication skill is needed as frequent communication with FO/MO/BO/IT, including UAT and training.
• Motivated

• Team Oriented

Technical skills required

• Good knowledge in Visual Basic and Visual Studio, MS Excel and Macro, MS Access, Internet Browser security etc
• IT literate
• Mathematically minded


• Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
