Job summary

Summary of the position:

 Under the supervision of the Head of RPC-Credit Monitoring & Reporting-

· Responsible for the risk control & monitoring functions within Risk & Permanent Control Department (‘RPC’) of Credit Agricole CIB India

· Participate to the management of all tasks related to the local adaptation of RPC’s worldwide risk projects (Basel II, Basel III, evolution of IT infrastructure, evolution of risk methodologies & processes)

· Prepare internal and regulatory risk reports.

· Managing the Credit documentation control and monitoring process within Credit Administration & Monitoring Department.

 

Main responsibilities:

 Work as part of Credit Monitoring & Reporting team of Risk Department to discharge responsibilities in areas of credit control, internal and regulatory risk reports, credit administration, facility documentation, collateral management and covenant monitoring. In addition, responsible for any tasks that may be assigned from time to time by the Head of the department.

 

Main duties :

Credit Controller - 

· Data management and reporting:

-  Ensure consistency and quality of risk information about counterparties, limits, authorizations and utilizations;

- Manage the local risk databases and their feeding process to ensure the upstream quality of risk data flowing from local systems;

-  Reconcile the risk databases with the accounting databases, participate to review of risk weighted assets reports;

- Prepare internal and regulatory risk reports and ensure timely submission

· Control implementation of risk decisions:

- Check utilizations against authorizations and limits;

- Report anomalies to local management and Risk Department in accordance with local / regional / HO procedure for monitoring and reporting of anomalies (e.g. limit breaches, tenor breaches, expired authorisations etc)

· Methods, tools and systems:

-  Participate to the management of all the tasks related to the local adaptation of RPC’s worldwide projects in liaison with RPC-AP and RPC-HO

- Define and implement local procedures for risk control and monitoring in line with the Regional / HO procedures and local regulatory requirements.

 

Supplementary Information

Documentation Controller

Management and supervision of:

 Documentation

· Vet draft of facility Offer Letters based on Approval Memo from Risk Dept;

· Ensure that all legal documents (both general and specific) applicable to each authorized facility are obtained from the Coverage Department before activation of the facility.

· Follow-up receipt of post-disbursement documentation and also pending / expiring documents.

· Report on monthly basis to Anomalies Committee regarding pending / missing documentation and keep current the status of documentation.

· Monitor testing of covenants as per approval terms.

Monitoring of Guarantees / Collateral Received 

· Ensure that the text of the Guarantees / Collaterals received as collateral for Client's Facilities comply with the terms of Sanction and are readily enforceable.

· Ensure that the Guarantees / Collaterals received are booked in relevant systems by Back Office.

· Ensure that all collaterals are properly linked to the Facilities.

· Follow up on the expiring Guarantees and ensure to get extended before Maturity Date.
