The Equity Solutions (“EQS”) division is a joint-venture between Global Investment Banking and the Global Markets Division. EQS is composed of four business lines:

- Equity Investment Solutions,

- Equity Finance & Delta One,

- Convertible Bonds, and

- Strategic Equity Transactions (“SET”).


Present in Paris, New York and Hong Kong, the SET team structures, markets and executes strategies and solutions on listed shares mainly for large Corporates and Holding Companies.

SET products in HK include Equity Financing transactions, Share Acquisition and Disposal strategies, Yield Enhancement solutions and Hedging strategies.


Key Responsibilities

The position will consist of supporting the SET salesperson based in Hong Kong in the structuring, marketing and execution of SET products and solutions to CACIB’s prospects and clients which are located mainly in Hong Kong, Mainland China, Japan and Singapore.


As such, the main missions will be the following:

  • Maintain the SET pitch book library in order;
  • Actively monitor market news related to specific shares, prospects and clients (sharp share price movements, earning releases, share buyback announcements, etc.);
  • Design/ update dedicated spreadsheets using company financial reports, market data service provider software (Bloomberg, etc.) and internal databases to support marketing campaigns;
  • Participate in drafting pitch books and termsheets for prospects and clients;
  • Participate in drafting internal (Credit) memos;
  • Request volatility-based instrument pricings from the Equity Trading desk based in Paris and risk metric calculations from the Market Risk department;
  • Participate in pricing Equity Financing transactions;
  • Calculate profitability indicators;
  • Review and comment legal documentation.

Level of minimal experience

0-2 years


• 0-3 years of experience
• Prior internships or work experience in financial markets and/or corporate finance (M&A, Private Equity, etc.) required
• Previous experience in Strategic Equity Transactions would be valuable

Required skills

• Strong writing, analytical and quantitative skills;
• Curious, detail-oriented, meticulous and rigorous;
• Strong entrepreneurship and team spirit willing to work independently with minimal supervision;
• Hardworking with a strong sense of commitment and responsibility;
• Able to work under pressure under tight deadline and beyond normal hours;

Technical skills required

• Strong knowledge of the Equity market;
• Good understanding of accounting principles;
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word.


• Fluent in written and spoken English; French preferable; Mandarin a plus
