Join our dynamic UK Equity Solutions Sales and Cross Asset Distribution desk as a Solutions Sales Intern. This role offers the opportunity to engage with various aspects of equity derivatives and structured products. The successful candidate will be involved in the entire structuring and manufacturing chain and gain exposure to other front office desks within the bank. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in financial mathematics, proficiency in Excel, and an eagerness to learn about financial markets and derivatives.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist with sales responsibilities on the UK Equity Solutions Sales and Cross Asset Distribution desk
- Support senior staff with daily tasks including:
- Indicative pricing of equity derivatives products (OTC, notes, warrants) and fixed income products (CLN, Callable, etc.)
- Marketing efforts towards clients, including presentations and product decks
- Managing the desk's day-to-day activities such as internal follow-up on price requests and monitoring client activities
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of desk processes, including the maintenance and enhancement of existing desk spreadsheets and macros
- Assist with the processing of trades for the desk, involving coordination with internal stakeholders such as trading, structuring, legal, middle office, and back office
- Help produce reports for the desk, including hit ratio and internal reports
- Regularly report to the head of the sales desk on specific issues
- Actively participate in sales meetings with the structuring and trading teams to exchange ideas and improve processes

• Strong desire to learn about financial derivatives and the workings of financial markets.
• Ability to work effectively within a sales team.
• Mathematically proficient, ideally with an A or better in A-level maths.
