Job summary

Join the dynamic Chief Operating Office (COO) Division of Global Markets (GMD) as a motivated and detail-oriented intern.

 

 

You will get the opportunity to support the project management activities within the Capital Markets division, with a primary focus on the Sales department.  This internship is your gateway to gaining invaluable hands-on experience in project management, collaborating with a diverse array of stakeholders, and exposure to both business and IT processes

 

We are looking for a candidate with good organisation and communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be working on projects that require having high attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.

 

Some of the role responsibilities include:

 

  •  Perform functional and regression testing for system enhancements or new functionalities.
  • Document and report test results, actively identifying and following up on issues with relevant stakeholders (Business and IT).
  • Facilitate effective meetings: Draft and distribute meeting minutes, ensuring clarity and actionable takeaways for all participants.
  • Contribute to the creation and refinement of project specifications, adding valuable insights and improvements.
  • Manage daily operations: Take ownership of daily operational tasks and production activities, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows.
  • Support project management: Assist the project manager in tracking progress, reporting updates, and maintaining comprehensive project documentation.

Candidate criteria

Minimal education level

Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent

Academic qualification / Speciality

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent – likely within degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or Computer Sciences.

Experience

  • Previous investment banking intern experience would be beneficial

Required skills

  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Technical skills required

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies
  • Fluency in English; French language skills is a plus
