Summary

 

  • Crédit Agricole CIB is the Corporate and Investment Banking arm of the Crédit Agricole Group. It offers its clients a comprehensive range of products and services in capital markets, investment banking, structured finance and corporate banking.
  • Crédit Agricole CIB has a network of 18 trading rooms around the world, of which five are liquidity centres: London, Paris, New York, Hong Kong and Tokyo. It offers its clients a strong positioning in Europe, Asia, the Middle East and in the United States.
  • Based in London, the position sits in the UK COO Office of the Global Markets Division (GMD), directly supporting the Chief Operating Officer for GMD, UK (UK GMD COO).

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Assist the UK GMD COO office on the following tasks:

 

UK Senior Manager Regime (SMR):

  • Support the UK COO office in managing the SMR Dashboard (liaise with Support Functions for the different reports, answer questions from users...)
  • Work with the IT development team to propose improvements

 

Governance:

  • Help prepare the various committees (Attendance, support documents, minutes, logging of decisions and next steps, follow-up on actions points)
  • Help design, produce and utilise relevant dashboards to monitor risks, actions and resulting performance
  • Help design the business strategy for the UK in alignment with the Global strategy for GMD; provide support to its implementation and monitoring. Contribute to global initiatives as relevant.

 

Delegation and Oversight:

  • Help document the various delegations and keep them up to date
  • Help implement delegation oversight

Risks and Controls:

  • Help with monitoring of risks and of proper escalation process
  • Help design, implement & document the 3 LOD model for the Senior Manager (SM)
  • Ensure policies and procedures are up to date

 

People and Culture:

  • Help prepare communications from the SM (email communications, support documents for presentations, town halls, etc.)
  • Maintain up-to-date organisation charts

 

Technology & Operations:

  • Help with interactions with Support functions in general and in particular with IT and Operations via adequate forums, dashboard, exchange of information and escalation mechanisms.

 

Any other ad-hoc projects or tasks
