Job summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Manager Intern to assist and support the COO of our Credit platform. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in business management within the financial sector.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Primary Credit Presentation: Assist the Business Management team in preparing presentations for Primary Credit.
  • Market Analysis: Participate in market and league table analysis to provide insights and support decision-making.
  • Credit P&L Production: Perform daily production of Credit P&L and conduct related commercial analyses for Primary Credit Management.
  • Intellectual Capital Maintenance: Maintain the intellectual capital of the group, including databases of recent issues and pipelines.
  • Policy and Procedure Management: Help review, update, maintain, and implement Policies and Procedures for Primary Credit.
  • Project Assistance: Assist the Global Credit Business Manager with ongoing projects.

Candidate criteria

Minimal education level

Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent

Academic qualification / Speciality

Essential:

  • A university degree in a quantitative, financial or economic subject.

 

Desirable:

  • Some knowledge or demonstrable interest in capital markets (such as an econometric or markets module) or previous internship in finance

Experience

Essential:

  • Some demonstrable interest in finance and fixed income

 

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in Support functions (Trading/Sales support or Middle Office)
