The role is in the COO Sales team. The role of the team is to improve processes and procedure to make the day to day life of Sales easier.
The team is working on various projects that involves daily interaction with IT, Compliance, Support function and indeed the Sales themselves.
The interaction is global, because it involves speaking to Sales based anywhere in the world, from Asia to the Middle East and eventually New York. One of the mission of the teams is to generate regular monitoring of Sales activity, in terms of interaction with clients, but as well the different tools that the have been using while transacting with the clients. The range of products covered by the team range from FX to Bonds and indeed Interest Rate Derivatives.
Key Responsibilities
· Run weekly statistics on the pre trade tools used by Sales while contemplating a transaction with their Client
· Automatize statistics
· Run monthly statistics on IRD, Bonds & FX
· Elaborate score card for PRICE usage
· Run daily statistics to visualise what should have been processed in PRICE and has not been
· Prepare ad hoc statistics to top management
· Understand the systems architecture
· Be proactive to understand how statistics management could be eased
· Run analysis related to client performance/opportunities
· Contribute to Sales level 1 controls performed by Sales COO office
· Contribute to fails monitoring
· Be collaborative
· Propose new axes of amelioration
SPECIAL ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
· You will have good exposure with the COO Sales office and good interaction with Sales
· Good exposure to business, with direct contact to Sales
· Good understanding of the financial environment
· Excellent documentation skill.
· Able to communicate effectively, especially with technical colleagues.
· Ability to prioritise and to meet tight deadlines.
Legal and Regulatory Responsibilities
· Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory and internal Compliance requirements, including, but not limited to, the London Compliance manual and the Financial Crime Policy
. Maintain appropriate knowledge to ensure to be fully qualified to undertake the role. Complete all mandatory training as required to attain and maintain competence.
