Job summary
** This position will be under the Employee Referral Program in Hong Kong.
Summary
1. Support the Head of China Desk in Hong Kong to develop and manage a portfolio of Chinese corporate clients (PCO)
2. Assist to develop and manage the relationship with Hong Kong-based Chinese corporate subsidiaries of China Desk (PAM)
3. Manage and control the quality of offshore booking in CACIB Hong Kong of facilities for Chinese corporate client (Offshore Booking)
Key Responsibilities
1. PCO
As part of China Desk, the GRM assists the Senior Banker to develop and manage a portfolio of China corporate clients. Accordingly, the GRM will be:
- Responsible of the day-to-day relationship through the life cycle of the client, including internal process of onboarding new clients/counterparties, Know Your Customer (“KYC”) and contributing to the commercial strategy of the Senior Banker
- Responsible for the execution of key business activities / products including but not limited to Global Investment Banking, Corporate & Leverage Finance, Global Markets, International Trade and Transaction Banking, Sustainable Investment Banking, etc.
- Monitoring the risk profile with vigilance and working closely with Risk & Permanent Control team on the credit due diligence and assist the Senior Banker to perform timely annual review/interim requests on the client portfolio
- Responsible for preparation of marketing materials and meeting memos
- Liaising with relevant country teams within CA Network and internal functions including Compliance, Legal, Financial & Client Services, Operations, Finance, etc. to effectively and efficiently deliver the products / solutions to the clients
2. PAM
As part of China Coverage team, under supervision of the head of China Desk in Hong Kong, the GRM will be working closely and supporting other Senior Bankers of China Coverage team, for a portfolio of Hong Kong-based subsidiaries of China corporates. Accordingly, the GRM will be:
- Responsible of developing, covering and marketing the PAM portfolio supporting PCO Senior Bankers in Mainland China
- Responsible of identifying key decision makers and senior management in Hong Kong of PAM clients
- Responsible for pitching actively the Bank’s corporate banking products to PAM clients alongside the product lines
3. Offshore Booking
Responsible of handling internal and administrative issues related to the booking in Hong Kong of the client portfolio of China Coverage Team as a whole. Ensuring smooth executions and bookings and providing swift client services related to all Hong Kong bookings. For this role, the GRM will have a Support to Front Office to help her/him. The GRM will also be responsible for providing guidance and coaching to the Support to Front Office/ Trainee during daily work.
