Job summary
Summary
This trainee will join the Hong Kong Financial Control team and assist in Finance department tasks. The ideal candidate should have already completed all bachelor/master degree requirement by now and will be ready to start working from August 2024. Trainee program is one year to begin with and possible for extension up to 2 years in total, subject to performance and business needs.
Key Responsibilities
a) Enhance automation in producing reports (both local regulatory and management control)
- Identification of users’ requirements and specifications;
- Data analysis, data mining of massive data sources and mapping with available tools;
- Perform UAT and parallel run (if needed) to reconfirm accuracy and consistency;
- Clear documentations of process flows and user guides, as well as data dictionary
b) Project to prepare the e-filing of our profits tax returns
- Familiarize the HKIRD requirement ;
- Data analysis of our existing accounting system and payment subsystems, conversion / mapping of data wrt taxonomy provided by HKIRD, and also the tagging requirements
- Logistic in retrieving the supporting documents (i.e. invoices) substantiating the expense details
c) Familiarize with regulatory reporting requirements for banks in HK, as well as management control processes, including MIS reporting. Assist in finance production tasks (for both reporting and controls) and other Finance projects.
