Summary of the position:


CMTP is Cash Management Core Transformation Program, primarily responsible for Processing of Payments, Generation of various client reports [Accounting, Payment Status Reports, Transactional Debit Credit Advices].
CMTP is vast with functional scope & complex code base which requires more to study, evaluate, understand and provide feedback on assigned functional requirements.
This position requires a strong technical knowledge to to implement new solution for the cash management system of the bank, working in a team with BA, PM, tech Lead and co-developers.

Main responsibilities:

§  Develop solutions for Big Data applications using [Storm, Hadoop, Elastic Search Cluster, Java 8, Junit, GRPC, Cucumber, Maven, Kafka, HBase, Jenkins, HADeploy, Hortonworks data platform]
§  Study User Story, estimate & Develop solutions following defined standards and high quality
§  Ensure Code quality, Unit Test, Cucumber test, Sonar for the deliverables assigned and upkeep with non-regression
§  Demo after each user story with BA; Adhere to planned timeline
§  Support performance, Integration, E2E & UAT testing
§  Ensure no hick-ups in production & timely action for alert

Main duties details:

Technical Analysis, Development and Testing

§  Study, evaluate, understand and provide feedback on functional specifications from functional and automation coverage perspective
§  Convert User Stories to Technical Stories
§  Assist Functional team members in automation development related activities
§  Perform non-functional testing when needed
§  Conduct integration testing before handing over product for UAT
§  Provide technical support during UAT
§  Assist scrum master / PM  / Test Leader
Maintenance and support
§  Provide L3 technical support for applications under responsibility
§  Analyse and resolve tickets raised by end-users in production environment
§  Analyse enhancement requests as prioritized by business for live applications under responsibility and provide IT inputs
§  Build and repository management
§  Release Deployment management
§  Assist L1/L2 support to improve support quality over time
Functional Documentation
§  Prepare and maintain functional documents (BRD, FRD and traceability Checklist and other standard documents)
Co-ordination and communication
§  Coordinate with other developers and business analysts as needed to deliver solutions on time and with good quality
§  Coordinate with Information Security, Infrastructure and IT Ops teams
§  Organize meetings on any technical topics under control as needed
§  Provide consultancy to managers, developers and other team members

Legal and Regulatory Responsibilities

§  Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory and internal Compliance requirements, including, but not limited to, the Singapore Compliance manual and Compliance policies and procedures as issued from time to time; Financial Security requirements, including, but not limited to, the prevention of Financial Crime and Fraud including reporting obligations to the Money Laundering Reporting Officer.

Maintain appropriate knowledge to ensure to be fully qualified to undertake the role. Complete all mandatory training as required to attain and maintain competence.
