Job summary

Summary

The candidate will join our HK FI Credit Sales Team in Hong Kong as a sales trainee to work with the team, its various stakeholders and handle client facing activities when appropriate. 

 

The ideal candidate will complete all degree requirements by July 2024 and ready to start working in August 2024. Trainee contract is one year to begin with and renewable for up to two years in total.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist and backup senior sales in daily operations internally (with colleagues) and externally (with clients).

     

  • Familiarize with all FICC products with priority on credit and rates products.

     

  • Help on sales team’s internal admin tasks such as OnBoarding procedure, translations, ad-hoc tasks, vanilla products such as deposit pricing etc.

Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent

Academic qualification / Speciality

Master/ Bachelor degree candidates, with strong academic background in Business, Accounting, Financial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics or Engineering with less than 12 months’ full-time experiences

Level of minimal experience

0-2 years

Prior experience in capital markets products will be an advantage.

Languages

Fluent in both written and spoken English, Mandarin speaking is a must
