Job summary

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

  • The head of ITB Americas Credit Coordination serves as the central point of contact for all credit matters related to ITB files and ITB portfolio
  • He/She will support the ITB Americas origination and structuring teams by coordinating the credit process related to ITB transactions and ensuring high quality information is provided to decision-makers in advance of relevant business and credit committees
  • Coordination with various stakeholders (within ITB and also external to ITB) ensuring ITB portfolio quality stewardship and act as a reliable inner-ITB escalation point in the origination and structuring phases
     

 

SCOPE:

  • The complete portfolio of ITB Americas, whether booked in New-York, Canada or Brazil
  • The 6 business lines covered by ITB Americas, ie:

o    Trade Finance

o    Receivables and Supply Chain Finance

o    Private Equity Funds Solutions

o    Export Finance

o    Cash Management and Short Term Working Capital Transactions

o    Global Commodity Finance (Transactional and Structured Commodity Finance)

 

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Credit coordination of all credit matters within ITB Americas portfolio
  • Address any credit concerns/ questions being raised by RPC (or any other internal stakeholders) on ITB Americas portfolio
  • Review and ensure the quality of credit analysis in all Early Birds and Front Office Requests
  • Write or review the Executive Summary included in all ITB Front Office Requests
  • Coordinate approval timeline of all EBs and FOR with all involved parties
  • Ensure that all credit and credit-related approval conditions are thoroughly implemented and monitored
  • Manage all relationship with ACUITY (or any other external subcontractor for financial analysis) and ensure that the quality of their work is at the level required by RPC and all internal stakeholders, and is completed in a timely manner (respect of deadlines..)
  • Work with the RSF structuring team to regularly review repayment history in underlying transactions and portfolio
  • Attend relevant Buscom, BPC and Credit Committees as necessary
  • Monitor the ITB portfolio from a risk standpoint and ensure that there is no significant deterioration of it risk profile
  • Anticipation: set-up the appropriate information system to help anticipate any event having a potential impact (positive or negative) on the risk profile of ITB portfolio
  • Contribute to/Supervise the quarterly Risk Review on ITB portfolio 
  • Liaison and coordination with ITB Brazil team for all credit matters related to Brazilian transactions booked in New-York or in Brazil   
  • Contributes to required internal processes to authorize new products and processes
     

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Contributes to internal presentations on product and strategy
  • Responds to audit inquiries and participate in discussions with IG, Audit and Loan Review

Experience

 

·      +10 years min of experience in credit and portfolio management

·      +15 years min of experience in banking

·      Good knowledge/understanding of most of the products covered by ITB Americas

·      Strong market and credit knowledge

·      Strong legal documentation skills
