Job summary

The successful candidate will join as a Trainee, assisting the team in work scope related to real estate financing opportunities - transaction ground work / research, cashflow modelling, conducting KYC review, preparing Business and Credit Memos, performing portfolio reviews, executing and closing transactions, among others.

 

The ideal candidate should complete the graduation requirement by April 2026 and is available to start the position from April 2026 onwards. Trainee program is one year to begin with and possible for extension up to 2 years in total, subject to performance and business needs.


 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct financial analysis / cashflow modelling and other ground work (such as KYC, etc.) to facilitate execution of transaction mandates
  • Perform industry research, draft marketing materials, and prepare financing proposals to prospective clients
  • Work on Business and Credit Memos, Annual Reviews, and Portfolio Reviews, etc.
  • Work closely with team members on various tasks in relation to business origination
  • General assistance to the team in all commercial, marketing, execution and reporting / budgeting functions

 

In accordance with the Mandatory Reference Checking (MRC) Scheme implemented by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA), a successful candidate for an In-Scope Position who has held a position with an In-Scope Institution in the past 7 years will be subject to a mandatory reference check.   For more details, please refer to Mandatory Reference Checking Scheme Phase 2 | The Hong Kong Association of Banks.

Minimal education level

Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent

Academic qualification / Speciality

Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics or relevant discipline with less than 12 months’ full-time working experience

Level of minimal experience

0-2 years

Required skills

  • Good work attitude; a team player and self-starter with good problem-solving skills

Technical skills required

  • Proficient Excel financial analysis and cashflow modelling skills
  • Multi-tasking ability to work within a dynamic environment under tight deadlines

Languages

Excellent written/ spoken English and Chinese (Knowledge of spoken/ written Korean is an advantage)
