Job summary

The main responsibilities of Section Chief of TW OPC-CMO-IRD are:

To Supervise Derivatives Operations Section(TW OPC-CMO-IRD) and ensure all daily transactions, entries, reports etc., are processed and validated correctly and timely.
Be responsible for settlement quality of derivatives products, operational work planning, staff training, monitoring internal controls and risk assessment.
Detect any abnormal transactions and report to Head of TW OPC-CMO promptly and thoroughly.
To support global initiatives, system migrations, business planning projects etc.
To follow Local Regulations and bank internal rules and procedures.
To back up Section staffs and other Section Chief.

Candidate criteria

Minimal education level

Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent

Academic qualification / Speciality

Bachelor's or above

Level of minimal experience

11 years and more

Experience

A minimum of 15 years’ banking experience in Capital Market Derivatives operation.

Required skills

1. Possess strong knowledge of Derivatives products and solid understanding of Derivatives trade lifecycle, confirmation, settlement and regulatory reporting.
2. Good understanding with relevant banking regulations and risk management practices.
3. Experience in process improvement, automation initiatives, and system migration projects.
4. Proven people management experience with the ability to lead, coach, and develop a team.
5. Must hold a Securities Specialist License
6. Proficient in MS Office ( e.g. Excel Function) and familiarity with automation tools or AI applications is an advantage.
7. Good command of spoken and written English.
